Job Posting Policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
Every job on purplelogin must be a real vacancy, posted by someone authorised to hire for it. These rules apply to companies and recruiters.
Allowed
- Real, open vacancies — permanent, contract, part-time, apprenticeships and internships.
- Recruitment agencies posting for a client, if the post says it is through an agency.
Not allowed
- Charging candidates any fee — for applying, training, interviews, equipment, visas or "registration".
- Commission-only or pyramid-style "opportunities" presented as jobs; get-rich-quick or investment schemes.
- Fake or "pipeline" posts with no real role behind them, or posts collecting CVs to resell.
- Asking for bank details, ID documents or payment before a genuine, written offer.
- Jobs that break UK law, including pay below the National Minimum Wage for the role.
Fair and lawful adverts
- No discriminatory requirements (age, sex, race, religion, disability, etc.) unless the law allows a genuine occupational requirement.
- Job title, location (or remote), contract type and the actual employer or client must be accurate.
- Salary, if shown, must be the real range for the role.
After posting
- Close or remove the job when it is filled.
- Use candidates' data only for that recruitment, in line with UK GDPR.
- Respond to applicants where you reasonably can.
Enforcement
We may remove a job, pause posting, remove a company badge or close the account. Report suspicious jobs with Report → "Scam".
