Reporting, Moderation & Appeals

This page explains how to report a problem, how we decide, how fast we act, and how to challenge a decision.

How to report

Use Report on any post, comment, profile, message, job, group or article. Choose the reason that fits best.
Reports are confidential — the person you report is not told who reported them.
You can also block anyone. They will not be able to message or see you.

How fast we act

Illegal content (for example child abuse material, terrorism, threats, fraud): we aim to act within 24 hours.
Other reports (harassment, spam, fake profiles, misleading jobs): we aim to review within 7 days.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 first.

What we may do

Remove or hide content; add a warning.
Limit features such as posting or messaging for a period.
Suspend or permanently close an account; remove a company badge.
Report illegal content to the police or the relevant authority where the law requires or allows it.

How we decide

A person on our team reviews reports against these policies and the law. We look at the content, its context, and the account's history. Automated tools may help spot spam, but serious decisions are reviewed by a person.

Telling you

If we remove your content or restrict your account, we tell you what was affected and which rule it broke, unless the law or someone's safety prevents it.

Appeals

If you think we got it wrong, reply to our notice or email ukprem1985@gmail.com within 30 days, with the subject "Appeal". Someone who did not make the first decision will review it, and we aim to reply within 14 days. If we were wrong we restore the content or account.

Complaints

You can complain about our safety measures, a report we did not act on, or how we handled your report, using the same email with the subject "Complaint". Complaints are handled by our Trust & Safety lead, who is responsible for safety on purplelogin. We aim to reply within 14 days.
