1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using purplelogin ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

Platform IP: The Platform, including its design, code, logos, trademarks, and proprietary algorithms, is the exclusive property of purplelogin and is protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and patent laws.

User Content: You retain ownership of content you create and post on the Platform. By posting content, you grant purplelogin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Platform.

No Scraping: Automated collection, scraping, mining, or extraction of Platform data, user profiles, or content is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate account termination and may result in legal action.

3. Copyright Protection

The Platform respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. Users must not:

Post content that infringes on another's copyright, trademark, or other IP rights
Use the Platform to distribute pirated or counterfeit materials
Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Platform features, designs, or code
Reverse-engineer any part of the Platform

4. DMCA / Copyright Takedown

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on the Platform without authorisation, you may submit a DMCA takedown request through our reporting system. We will review and respond within 48 hours.

5. User Conduct

Users must not engage in harassment, hate speech, spam, impersonation, fraud, or any illegal activity. The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. CV & Document Downloads

CVs and documents generated through the Platform are the intellectual property of the user who created them. The Platform embeds metadata for attribution purposes. Users are responsible for the accuracy of information in their CVs.

7. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
