purplelogin is a professional network. Treat it like a workplace: be honest, be respectful, and help each other build careers. These guidelines apply to everything you post, message, comment, upload or share.

Be professional and respectful

Disagree with ideas, not people. Keep criticism constructive.
No harassment, bullying, threats, stalking or unwanted repeated contact.
No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age.
No sexual content, sexual advances or unwanted romantic messages. This is not a dating site.

Be honest

Only post true information about yourself, your experience and your qualifications.
No scams, phishing, pyramid schemes, fake job offers or requests for money.
No deliberately false or misleading information, including fake reviews or salary reports.
Do not impersonate another person, company or organisation.

Respect other people's rights

Only share content you own or have permission to share. See the Copyright Policy.
Do not post anyone's private information (home address, phone number, ID documents, health details) without their permission.
Do not record, screenshot or share private messages to embarrass or harm someone.

Never allowed — removed and may be reported to the police

Child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualises children.
Terrorist content, incitement to violence, or threats to kill or harm.
Content encouraging suicide or self-harm.
Selling illegal goods, weapons or drugs; fraud; money laundering.
Intimate images shared without consent.

Keep it relevant and spam-free

No mass unsolicited messages, connection spam or repeated identical posts.
Advertising goes through the Ad manager, not disguised as normal posts.
No automated accounts, scraping, or bots without our written permission.

What happens if you break the rules

Depending on how serious it is, we may remove the content, give a warning, limit features (posting, messaging), suspend the account, or close it permanently. Illegal content is removed and may be reported to the authorities. See Reporting, Moderation & Appeals for how decisions and appeals work.
