Profile & Identity Policy

People here make career decisions based on profiles, so profiles must be real and accurate.

Who can join

You must be at least 16 years old.
One personal account per person. Companies register a separate company account.
Accounts cannot be sold, shared or transferred.

Your name and photo

Use your real name — the name you use at work. Nicknames that are clearly yours are fine.
Your profile photo should be you (or left blank). No logos, celebrities or other people on a personal profile.
Once your name is verified it is locked; contact us to change it (for example after marriage).

Your career information

Job titles, employers, dates, degrees and certifications must be true.
Do not claim qualifications, licences or memberships you do not hold.
Recruiters and employers may ask you to prove what your profile says.

Fake and misleading profiles

We remove fake accounts, impersonation, duplicate accounts and profiles created to scam, spam or harass. If you think a profile is fake, use Report on the profile and choose "Impersonation" or "Scam".

Company accounts

A company account must belong to a real, registered organisation and be run by people authorised to act for it. See Verification & Badges.

Closing your account

You can download your data and delete your account at any time in Settings. See the Privacy Policy for what we keep and for how long.
